I woke up to my cell phone ringing that Saturday morning.

"Hello?" I answered it groggily.

"ALLEN!! I can't believe you!" a strangely familiar voice yelled at me.

I looked at the caller I.D. and also checked my alarm. "Lenalee what are you talking about? And did you know it's seven. In the morning!" I semi-yelled at her.

"Of course I know what time it is, silly," she answered me.

"Then why are you calling me?" I decided, standing up, to get ready for the day since there was no way I could've gone back to sleep.

"Because. I know you like Lavi and all, but I still can't believe you did that!" she exclaimed, not fully answering my question.

"What are you talking about?" I asked her, slightly worried that she had found out what happened between Lavi and I yesterday.

"Oh, you know what you did.  Do I really have to spell it out for you?" she said in a exasperated voice.

I gulped, she totally knew what I did yesterday. But how did she find out. Lavi and I were totally alone, and I told him I wanted to wait awhile after he broke up with Alex to tell anyone we were going to go out. I sighed, "how did you find out?"

"You butt dialed me on your way back home," I swear I could hear her smirking on the other end.

I slapped my forehead and cursed my stupid phone. "Please tell me you did tell anyone," I asked her while I walked over to my dresser.

"Of course I didn't Allen. I heard how you did want to tell anyone yet. So your secret is safe with me."

"Thanks Lenalee, you're a great friend." I stopped trifling through the drawers when a thought came to me. "Lenalee..."

"Yes, Allen?"

"Why did you decide that now was a good time to call me about this. Why didn't you do it yesterday?"

"Oh! I just wanted you to go shopping with me of course!" she said excitedly.

I groaned, "do I have to? Why can't Kanda go instead?"

"Seriously Allen?"

"Forget I said that, it was a stupid question. Still, why do I have to go?" I asked generally curious, because she normally doesn't make plans just out of the blue like this.

'I just need to get a couple of things and I don't want to go alone. So. can you please go with me?" I could just see her puppy dog eyes, begging me to go along with her.

"Fine," I relented.

"Okay, I'll pick you up in about thirty minutes so you better be ready when I get there." After a second I heard the dial tone and set my phone down.

"Well, I better take a quick shower now and try to find something to eat," I grumbled as I made my way to the bathroom.

Ten minutes later I was out of the shower and in the kitchen, digging through the fridge to find a little something to snack on. I was interrupted by the doorbell ringing, I walked away from the infuriatingly empty refrigerator to answer it.

It was Lenalee, and she was looking at me like I was insane. That's when I looked down and realized I was only dressed in my jeans. I led Lenalee inside and excused myself to find my long forgotten shirt. I found it on my bed along with my jacket, which I put on also.

As I made my way down the stairs I could hear Lenalee urgently whispering into her phone, her back towards the steps. 'That's odd,' I thought.

I guess she heard me going down the stairs because she quickly snapped her phone shut and spun on her heels to face me. "So are you all ready?" she questioned me, looking slightly suspicious.

"Um, ya. I think so. I mean we're only going to the store so it's not like I have to get dressed up or anything," I said shrugging.

"Ya, if you say so. Well come on Allen, we're gonna be late if we don't hurry now," she said while grabbing my hand and trying to drag me out of the house.

"Wait! I have to right Tyki a note telling him I'll be back in awhile," I said finding a sticky note on the counter. I scribbled him a note and as soon as I was done I was being ushered right out the door. "Why are you in such a hurry?"

"We're, um, gonna miss the sales... Ya, the sales! We can't miss the sales at Wal-Mart," she said as if trying to reassure herself of that.

"Oh, okay."

-40 minutes later-

"Lenalee, this isn't Wal-Mart," I said looking at the vast building in front of me.

"I may have forgotten to tell you we were gonna go to the mall, hehe," she smiled at me brightly.

"Goodness, what are you planning?" I sighed to myself.

"I'm not planning anything. I just wanted to spend a nice day with my best friend, whom I love more than anyone."

"Yup, you're definitely up to something," I said confirming my suspicion.

"You can think what you want to think but I'm not up to anything. Now come on we're gonna be late!" she squealed as I felt her grab my hand and pull me towards the doors of the giant building.

It turns out that she was leading me into a theater, the movie already starting. There weren't very many people in it, just some couples here and there. Sat near the back, and I asked her what we were seeing. She told me it was a romance comedy, that explains the couples.

Sometime during the movie Kanda appeared, I inwardly groaned. Why was he here! Him and Lenalee were whispering quietly to each other. I decided to ignore them, turning my head to the screen. While turning I noticed a shock of red hair in front of me, my heart started to race. It was Lavi. But why was he here? I got my answer when a short, blue-eyed blonde named Alex appeared. 'Lavi must be breaking up with him today,' I thought, pleased.

That pleasure quickly dissolved when I saw Alex practically rape Lavi's mouth. And Lavi was letting him do it. I could feel the tears well up in my eyes as I took in the sight in front of me.

"He lied." The words left my mouth easily and I soon saw two pairs of eyes on me.

"Is everything alright, Allen," was Lenalee's concerned voice.

I stood up and threw the empty popcorn bowl, which Kanda had brought surprisingly, straight at Lavi and Alex. They both freaked and looked behind them. I was making my way out of the auditorium when I heard Alex's voice "Aww, are you jealous Walker?"

I took one last look behind me, thinking of some snappy comeback, but stopped when I saw Lavi's face. He looked torn, a huge sadness in his deep emerald eye. "I hate you," I said as I finally stormed out of the theater.

I got a lot of odd stares and looks coming out of the auditorium. But I didn't care, I just wanted to get out of the place. I turned out of it and took the escalators to one of the upper floors, wiping my eyes.
Okay. It. Is. FINALLY! Done. And I've figured out a name for the story as well!
